Grand Marina
Alameda, California

A bosque of Mexican Fan Palms creates the visual gateway to this 346-berth marina. The landscaped promenade, featuring colorful, drought- and salt-tolerant plantings, provides both public and private access. A bermed grassy area accommodates passive recreation, and a variety of seating areas encourage community interaction. The adjacent parking area is shaded by trees and screened from view by landscaped berms.
